Just behind Switzerland, Ireland, which is considered a tax haven, comes in third place with 85,205.5 dollars per inhabitant.

Germany makes it into the top 20

GDP per capita in Germany was $46,216 in 2020. This puts the Federal Republic in 17th place among the wealthiest countries in the world. For comparison: When it comes to GDP, Germany secured the fourth place among the richest countries in the world with around 3.8 million US dollars in 2020.
