Sandra Bullock is taking a break from acting
She is one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood, but now Sandra Bullock is turning her back on the dream factory for the time being. The “Miss Undercover” star would rather take care of his private life.
She has had a storybook career, made film history with classics like “Speed” or “Miss Undercover” and has been doing big business with Netflix hits like “Bird Box” in recent years. But Sandra Bullock wants a change. She would like to take a break from acting for the near future, as she reveals in a new interview.
She explained that she doesn’t know how long she wants to stop filming. At the moment she has to stay in the place “that makes me happiest”. And that is in her home with her children Louis and Laila. “I take my job very seriously when I’m at work,” Bullock said. Then she is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But she would rather be “24/7 with my babies and my family” for a while.
Several years away from the camera?
The 57-year-old also recently spoke about this step at the “South by Southwest” event, as reported by the industry magazine “Variety”. During a question and answer session, she indicated that the break could last several years. So she wants to be active again as a producer, but probably only when her children are 16 or 17-year-old teenagers. The two were born in 2010 and 2012.
Before that, fans can see the actress alongside Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe in The Lost City. The adventure will be in German cinemas on April 21st. And Bullock also has a role in “Bullet Train” with Brad Pitt, which is scheduled to start in the summer.
