Best travel time for the Rhodes

The rose of the Dodecanese Islands, Rhodes is an ideal spring travel destination in Greece.

Wander through the medieval treasures of the old town, where the stone walls slowly warm in the sun and the pink flowers gradually emerge. For a little more exercise, climb the 300 or so steps that lead up to Tsambika Monastery and enjoy the beautiful view. Rhodes might be warm enough for a swim in Spring, best to visit Lindos with its beautiful beaches and Acropolis as you have such a great combination of history and sea.

Spring weather in Rhodes: Average temperatures from March to May range from 17°C to 23°C. So it gets warm relatively quickly, but if you are longing for lots of sun and warmth, it makes more sense to plan your Rhodes vacation for mid/end of May or June.

Getting to Rhodes: There are some direct connections from Germany to Rhodes, which are also increasing in the summer, but do not forget that the prices for flights and accommodation will increase a bit at Easter.
