Akköy in Didim
Located 17 kilometers from the center of Didim, Akköy is one of the oldest villages of Didim.
We recommend you to see the stone houses with Ottoman and Greek architecture in Akköy, which you can easily reach by public transportation vehicles departing from the center.
You can buy products produced by the local people in the village, where a market is set up every Thursday, and you can find fresh products in the village market set up every day in Kocabahçe during the summer months.
You can sit in the village coffee house and sip your tea and chat with the hospitable village people. When you come to Akköy, do not forget to buy the famous lop figs and strawberries of the region.
