Fortnite: New Season 2 Map in Chapter 3 Revealed – All Changes and POIs

You’ll soon be able to re-enter the battlefield solo or with your friends in Fortnite. Epic has launched Season 2 and resourceful dataminers have now discovered more information about the new map. We’ll show you more about it.

What’s happening in Fortnite right now? All players are currently stuck in the loading screen due to the server down and are eagerly waiting to finally be able to play Fortnite. Since the update file has already been published, resourceful dataminers got to work on the new hidden content.

In doing so, the “new” map was discovered, with which the players have to get by for a few more months until the season starts again. We have linked these and other leaks for you here:

New map with few changes

Has anything changed? At first glance, the new map looks unchanged. Twitter user “HappyPower” posted the new map on Twitter.

In addition to black craters that are wildly distributed on the map, oval monuments have found space in various places. It is not yet known whether these are IO camps or the Zeppelins, which were also seen in the Season 2 story trailer. On closer inspection, however, no new POIs can be seen.

Why are there hardly any changes? With IO and the Seven now facing an inevitable conflict, ongoing changes could be imagined. Since the black craters indicate bombardment, weekly destruction at the POIs could be possible.

As Epic showed in Chapter 2 Season 8, even slow changes can provide a lot of variety. There, a golden cube had caused trouble and moved through the map every day to initiate the plan of the dice queen.

But don’t worry, because the well-known POIs such as Tilted Towers or Daily Bugle are still intact and can be visited by the players. So enjoy the integrity of the map, because it won’t last long.
